Nicole Cyron

She was born in Hanover in 1971. After finishing school, she travelled the world. She worked as a German teacher in Japan and as a tour guide in Hong Kong. In both countries – and particularly later in Portugal – she proved her worth as an interpreter and translator. She has been living in Lisbon since the turn of the millennium. Owing to her many years of experience in Portugal, she now specialises in translations from Portuguese and English. In 2015, she obtained her Bachelor’s degree in Translation from the Universidade Nova de Lisboa. She is currently working on her Master’s thesis for the Romance Studies programme at the University of Leipzig.
